There are currently widespread phone and broadband problems affecting South Woodham Ferrers. The issues are due to technical problems at BT which is causing disruption of service to both home and business users. Early reports suggest that the problem has been caused by an attempted cable theft of major telephone lines.
We have spoken to some local businesses and the following options are available to those requiring internet access:
- Meadow Croft Garden Centre
- Oaklands Hotel
- Ahead4 (Limited Space but can connect to our wifi network to download mail)
Wifi is available at the above businesses to customers purchasing drinks and food on site.
