Email viruses

Posted Wednesday 21st September 2011 10:30

There has recently been an increase in emails pretending to be from someone they are not. This ranges from banks and buildings societies to email providers. Some examples of emails going around at the moment, are fake delivery/order problems and emails stating that you have been sending spam emails to their business and that they will take legal action if you don't open their attached document.

If you receive an email that seems too good to be true, or it is referring to an order/activity that you have no recollection of, do not open any attachments and delete the email immediately. If your email client has the option, it is also a good idea to 'Report as Spam' to try to prevent it from happening in the future.

If you have any problems/queries, please don't hesitate to give us a call on 01245 426 163.
